Instructors who use Math for Business and Life will be provided with the following testing materials:

  • Printed chapter tests. Each test consists of about 10 questions and are designed to take students about 30-40 minutes to complete. Emphasis is on word problems. There are 5 versions of each test (3 are open-ended versions  and 2 are Multiple Choice versions). A grading panel is in the margin (for students to write answers).
  • Printed bank of questions, by unit. Instructors can select questions for unit quizzes, chapter tests, midterms, or comprehensive finals. Questions are true-false and multiple choice; if open-ended questions are preferred, the choices (A, B, C and D) can be omitted. The questions mirror chapter review problems, with an indication by each test question which chapter review problem it is similar to.
  • Test question disc. All test questions are on disc (in both Word and WordPerfect formats), allowing instructors to select, edit, and scramble questions.
  • Answers.
  • Illustration masters for copying. Some test questions ask students to refer to an illustration from the text. With closed-book tests, illustrations must be provided to students. Masters are included in the testing materials.
